G C Laboratories Ltd. is an Analytical Chemistry Consultancy involved in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of all types of products to identify and quantify their constituents. G C Labs became GLP compliant for ‘Analytical Chemistry and Phys/Chem Testing’ in 1989. We were one of the first laboratories to be accredited to this standard in the UK and have maintained this accreditation right up to the present day.

We have a wide knowledge of analytical techniques for determining compounds in Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Veterinary Products, Food, the Environment and miscellaneous products from Industrial and Private sources.

We are involved in analyses at all levels, from the macro, which covers areas such as formulation analyses, quality control, storage stability trials, five batch analyses, to the micro, such as the determination of trace amounts of pesticide residues in crops, food, water, etc.

We also specialise in developing and validating methods of analysis and producing analytical data for registration purposes.

Our Analytical Chemistry portfolio includes, but is not limited to, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Infra Red (FTIR) Spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), UV/Visible Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, GC / Mass Spectroscopy (GC/MS) and numerous Classical techniques.

We have a large and diverse range of specialised scientific equipment, in our laboratories, in order to carry out a wide array of analyses and tests. This equipment includes a comprehensive range of GC detectors, e.g. FID, NPD, ECD, TCD, MS, etc., and a wide variety of HPLC detectors, e.g. UV/Visible, Refractive Index, Fluorescence, DAD, etc., all with autosamplers and the latest software.
