G C Laboratories Ltd. is an Analytical Chemistry Consultancy involved in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of all types of products to identify and quantify their constituents. GC Labs became GLP compliant for ‘Analytical Chemistry and Phys/Chem Testing’ in 1989. We were one of the first laboratories to be accredited to this standard in the UK and have maintained this accreditation right up to the present day.

We have a wide knowledge of techniques for determining Phys/Chem properties for Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Veterinary Products, Food, Environmental Specimens and Products from Industrial Sources.

Our experience not only covers general techniques such as pH, Density, Viscosity, Melting Point, Flash Point, Surface Tension, Particle Size, etc., but also less usual tests such as Partition Coefficient, Solubility in Various Solvents, Oxidising Properties, etc.

We have a comprehensive knowledge of most of the published Phys/Chem tests, e.g. CIPAC, OPPTS, OECD, WHO, ASTM, EPA, UA, BS, etc. and in addition have devised a number of Phys/Chem tests ourselves which have been successfully submitted to regulatory authorities around the world.
